So TV premiere week continues and can you have a TV overdose and if so what are the symptoms?
Wednesday will be much better in about 5 days give or a take a few hours.

Last spring it seemed that Tuesdays were about to drop to the bottom of my list of favorite TV nights. Sure House was still there but no more Gilmore Girls, no more Veronica Mars, the night seemed desolate. Then came the light at the end of the tunnel. Bones and House and Reaper (a promising new addition so far) all on one night? Things are looking up.

Okay, I watched the series premiere of Gossip Girl, and I liked it. There I said it.
Gossip Girls:
Reasons to like it - KBell as the narrator, Veronica Mars insinuating tone at its best, I'd probably watch it just for this since I'll be in VMVO withdrawal this year. On top of that I found the characters surprisingly likable despite their somewhat one note characterizations. For now I give it a pass, we'll see if it lasts the season on my "plan to watch" list.
Did you watch it? What did you think? Will you be tuning in for the GGVO alone or were you seduced by the glitz and hedonism?

I can't wait for fall tv premiere week.
Favorite and reasons I still tune in
1. How I Met Your Mother - Two words....Slap. Bet.
2. Heroes - good twists and turns, great characters and a burning desire to see what Peter Petrelli's hair looks like after a nuclear blast.
3. Bones - Brennan, Booth, Angela, Hodges, Zach....enough said
4. House - I've seen the previews....House with an electric guitar, Cuddy snarking, Wilson looking woeful, a room full of new blood being subjected to ridicule....House at its best.
5. My Name is Earl - I find this show reliably wacky and surprisingly warm and fuzzy making, its like the goofy guy you aren't really attracted to but go out with anyway because he makes you laugh.
6. Ugly Betty - Salacious soapy goodness and dork love, a winning combination.
7. THE OFFICE - yes, I meant to capitalize that. Do you remember last season? Jim asked Pam on a date, Dwight was manager for like 4.3 seconds and painted his office black, Jan got fired and moved in with Michael, The temp took the job at corporate, Stanley was Stanley, Meredith was drunk, Angela was disapproving and surprisingly devious, Creed was clueless, Andy sang acapella...a lot, Kevin played at a wedding and got a life-size poster of Jan for his wall...did I mention Jim asked Pam on a date!!!!
8. Supernatural - Beautiful boys fighting demons. Bring it on!
9. Friday Night Lights - A football show that is not about football at all. The only show on television that is guaranteed to make me cry every single episode. I'm a glutton for punishment.
10. Weeds - Hysterical and hysteria producing all at once.
11. Dexter - Who knew I secretly had a thing for serial killers?
12. Brothers and Sisters - dysfunctional family dynamics make for great tv.
Previously Favorites that are now put on notice
1. Grey's Anatomy - I watched season 3 all the way to the finale, I'm stubborn like that and I have one and only one comment regarding said finale...WTF???!!!
New Shows I will be auditioning for the "Favorites" list
Chuck - nerd becomes international spy, sign me up.
Reaper - interesting premise, we'll see what I think after an ep or two
Pushing Daisies - if the critics are to be trusted it sounds like this one should be fantastatic, here's hoping it lives up to the hype
Gossip Girl - guilty pleasure in the running
Moonlight - Jason Dohring playing a badass vampire. A thousand fangirls swoon.

I haven't been posting thoughts on this season up until now but I guess better late than never. What can I say, I need an angst/snark outlet.
Completey random thought synopsis because I am still mainly blown away by the fantabulousness of this entire episode.
